Level 4 learners have been introduced to Roald Dahl. After reading his book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ pupils enjoyed being Willy Wonka for the day.
As part of the day’s activities, pupils invented a new chocolate bar, designed a wrapper for it and came up with a slogan to promote it. They also analysed the characters of the book and made their own chocolate balls.
They ended their fun day by watching the movie which they then compared to the book.Learners are now being encouraged to continue reading more books of Roald Dahl.
