Transnational European Parliament Ambassador Schools Symposium

A group of nine students attending St Martin’s College Sixth Form participated in a Transnational European Parliament Ambassador Schools Symposium held in Cyprus, along with delegates from Ireland, Cyprus and the UK. In line with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen’s proposal to make 2023 the European Year of Skills, the theme of the Symposium was “Jobs of the Future”. In addition to a number of interesting workshops and a visit to Regional Lyceum Apostolos Loukas in Kolossi, our students enjoyed a guided tour of Nicosia and also visited the Graeco-Roman amphitheatre at the ancient site of Kourion. The event was organized by the European Parliament Liaison Office, Cyprus in collaboration with the European Parliament Liaison Office, Malta.
