Sicily Trip
St Martin’s College Italian Languages Team organised educational trips to Sicily for Level 8, 9 and 10 students who are studying Italian.
The aim of these days trips was to further enhance students’ communication skills in Italian as well as give them an opportunity to experience sections of the Italian/Mediterranean historical and social culture.
Students visited Parcallario Adventure Park, located in south-eastern Sicily where they experienced a breath-taking adventure in the beautiful setting of the Hyblaean Mountains. They also visited Syracuse after lunch.
The group were able to experience Sicilian culture and further understood the island’s importance in Mediterranean history.
