CHS Virtual Academy Junior School learners who opted to follow our Virtual Academy: Core Programme for Theme 1 were invited to Chiswick House School to a ‘Meet Your Class Teacher’ session in preparation for the new scholastic year. Our experience with virtual teaching and learning has continued to be strengthened through the evident success of our CHSMC summer Virtual Academy. As a school, we have decided to pursue a virtual learning platform that will run parallel to the in-school (physical) programme.

Professional Learning Week

Professional Learning Week Professional learning week has come to an end, with staff having attended several virtual meetings in preparation for the new scholastic year. Some of these meetings included a refreshers course on Microsoft teams, updates on Covid-19 protocols & procedures as well as talks related to 21st century teaching and RESTORE, a session which highlighted seven key areas to stimulate thinking and make decisions in order to collectively move forward into a healthy ‘new normal’.

CHS Support Team Our support team worked tirelessly to constantly reduce risk both indoors and outdoors during our CHS summer school programme to ensure that all learners are kept in a clean environment. These practices gave us the much-needed experience to ensure the smooth running to the start of the new scholastic year. With everyone’s support and input, we look forward to welcoming our CHSMC community back to school in the safest way possible. Level 11 Graduation Ceremony

Level 11 Graduation Ceremony Our graduation ceremony for the Level 11 students was an emotional and, although a very different one from previous years, a lovely event that was enjoyed by all. Prize winners were awarded for their marked effort, achievement and special qualities. Our School Leaving Certificates as well as the Secondary School Certificates and Profiles were also distributed during the ceremony. We would like to thank all staff, parents and students who attended, as well as all those who helped in the organisation of such a memorable event. We wish our students success and happiness in whatever path they choose to follow.
