SF Ice Breaking Day (SMC)

A group of over ninety first year Sixth Form students recently participated in an ‘Ice Breaking Day’ which was organised to welcome the new cohort of students. This consisted of a team-building exercise held at Mistra Bay during which the students had the opportunity to get to know each other better before starting their formal lectures. They were divided into teams and assigned the task of building a raft from barrels, wooden posts and rope. The students were finally asked to launch the rafts and test their sea-worthiness. After an eventful morning, all the students joined a number of Sixth Form lecturers and staff for lunch in Sliema.
