Finnish Delegation visit St Martin's College

A Finnish Delegation from Apollon School in Helsinki, Finland paid a visit to St Martin’s College were they tapped into areas of future collaboration with our school community. The representatives also observed a number of lessons to better understand our learning practices.

During their visit they spoke with several staff members and observed and participated in many lessons including PSHE, Drama, Mathematics, Art, Biology, English and Graphical Communications. They valued the level of interaction between our students, and positively commented on their debating skills. The Delegation was also positively impressed by the different talents they observed during the Rock the House talent show.

We thank them for their positive feedback and we look forward to future collaborations.

Over the past three years, two sixth form teachers and members of the Senior Management team visited Apollon School in Helsinki. This visit is a result of three years of collaboration.
