On the occasion of National Poetry Day, celebrated on the 1st October, CHS pupils were encouraged to enjoy, discover and share poetry. They were given a free reign to write any poem they wished with guidance being offered on rhyming poetry, acrostic and free verse. All participants were rewarded buttons for their class to kick off the scholastic year.
