Empowering Young Learners with Computational Thinking

At Chiswick House School, we’ve embarked on an exciting journey to empower young learners with computational thinking and practical coding skills.

Partnering with European allies in the ERASMUS+ project, we’re crafting an unplugged board game that’s not just fun but also fosters crucial CT competencies. ( www.cthinkit.eu )

Recently, our team joined fellow partners in Thessaloniki for an enriching Train the Trainer workshop, diving deep into CT concepts and game-based learning.

Check out the highlights:

Day 1: Immersed in Computational Thinking, hands-on activities, and exciting game exploration!
Day 2: Explored board game mechanics, finalised lesson plans, and had insightful discussions.
Day 3: Reflective sessions, planning for in-school training, and kicking off pilot projects!

Now, our master trainers are gearing up to spread the excitement by training teachers in early years in using the board game. Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to test and refine our creations, paving the way for a brighter, more innovative future!
