SMC Outing - Why Not?

Level 7 students recently visited the Eco Village ‘But Why Not?’ in Zebbiegh as part of their GES/PSHE programme. They were greeted by Mr Andrew Schembri who led them to the Creativity Vortex where the workshops took place. In smaller groups, students each participated in three workshops about Tree Planting, Growing your own food and Recycling. Our students also learnt about Composting and how to best care for and respect our Environment.

One of the highlights of this outing had to be the ‘Tree House’, which included hammocks and swinging seats in an open air play space. Our students learnt about a different way of living and also about small things they could do themselves to help care for the environment. Overall a great day!
